Hey, I’m Matt! I’ve been teaching myself the ins and outs of Unreal Engine since early 2022. This blog is my personal notebook dedicated to sharing the things I’ve learned along the way.

I’m a generalist software engineer by day and a hobbyist game dev by night.

My experiences at both Microsoft and Google involve developing internal tools for engineering, operations, and logistics. I’m interested in further specializing in this field by focusing on how to extend the Unreal Editor and create plugins to improve developer workflows.
